STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTION FOR ELITE 8 HOTEL BED BUG HEAT PACAKGE:
See below step 1 to 7 with pictures and information on how and where to use every product in your kit.

When bed bugs are suspected, a thorough inspection should be undertaken in areas where people sleep or if the inspection site is a hotel, it is important that the housekeeping staff be interviewed. Such staffs are more likely to have detailed knowledge about an infest than the management.
See below Percentage distribution of Bed bug inside room.

THE MORE PREPARATION THAT IS DONE, THE MORE EFFECTIVE THE TREATMENT WILL BE. LITTLE TO NO PREPARATION WILL RESULT IN POOR CONTROL RESULTS.
Best Practices for heating rooms
- Heat rises. Always try to seal the room(s) from escaping heat. Cover HVAC vents, bathroom exhaust fans, bottoms of doors, wall air-conditioners, etc. Cover windows pane with blankets or equivalent to minimize loss of energy from cold windows, especially important in the winter.
- Remove items that you would not leave in your car on a hot sunny summer day. Candles, lighters, many foods, candies, etc.
- Unplug all electrical items and do not place electrical items directly in front of the heater. Electrical items are rated for higher temperatures than you are heating, just avoid the direct heat coming out of the heater.
- It is best to bag clothes, sheets, etc. and run in the clothes dryer for 20 minutes on high. Never leave clothes laying on the floor or other surfaces or they will act as an insulator and it will be difficult to heat under them sufficiently.
- Open all drawers and separate all items so hot air can get everywhere easily.
- Stand or block box spring and mattress' so hot air can contact all sides.
- Place all fans blowing in the area you are heating to circulate the hot air into every nook and cranny. Turn on fans to ensure air movement is sufficient. Add more fans if it does not feel like a whirl wind or heat is not blowing into every nook and cranny.
- Use no less than 1 heater for every 325 square feet in a normal room of ceiling height of 8' or less for maximum performance. You can never have too much equipment, only not enough.
- Turn on heater and make sure all heater light switches that have power are on. Heater switches will not turn on if you do not have power connected to the respective heater switch. This is ok if you are doing this on purpose because you don't have or don't need the full power of the heater.
- Always check for fire sprinkler's installed in a building. Keep heat level at fire sprinkler head a minimum of 30F below the trigger temperature of the fire sprinkler.
- Fire Sprinkler System
- Walls and ceilings made of block or concrete require more heat because they are more conductive of energy than drywall. This means 1 heater will heat less space when you have walls and/or ceilings with block or concrete. 30% more heat power is a general rule for these rooms. All buildings are not constructed equally and more conductive materials take more energy to heat.
If you have a Fire Sprinkler System turn the Temperature Controller to 125°F. Check to see what trigger temperature your Fire Sprinklers are designed to activate. You will need to treat the room for 10-12 hours as a minimum.
You also have the option of covering the Fire Sprinkler or having the system deactivated for the treatment.
PEST CONTROL PRODUCTS DEPOT accepts no responsibility for damages should the sprinkler system remain activated and sprinkler heads allowed to be protected by using Sprinkler cover head .

Start your Window Heating unit. Set heater at highest level (up to 85 degree F to 90 degree F) for at least 24 hr's. This will helps you to absorb heat where Bed bug lives, items includes mattress, box spring, furniture's, dry wall, ceiling etc. This process will helps you to reduce time by Elite 8 Bed bug heater to achieve 122 degree F to 135 degree F.

1. Practice during heating room:
Make sure you move furniture, mattresses and other items to insure adequate exposure to heated air flow. Our high-velocity fans push heated air into corners and crevices, saturating the area with heat. In order to distribute hot air equally inside room turn fan (AF Elite Axial air mover or Aerobat 3700) periodically (on & off) towards ceiling side too.
2. Measuring temperature:
Recent research has determined the procedure involves heating up the infested item or area to temperatures lethal to bed bugs. Portable heaters and fans are used to gradually heat the air to about 120 - 130° F while monitoring with strategically placed sensors. By carefully controlling the temperature, Bed bugs and eggs are killed wherever they may be without damaging household items.......

Research studies shows 122 degree Fahrenheit kill all stages of bed bugs including eggs, nymph and adult in less 1 minute
We recommend holding that temperature or higher for at least 2 hours to ensure the heat saturates into the mattress and other furniture the bed bugs could be living in.

In order to know whether materials (viz; mattress, box spring, head boards, furniture's, baseboards, carpets, wall etc… ) where bed bugs reside - received 122°F temperatures or not, you may use IR Thermometer Laser Gun (see below).
Simply shoot laser beam on material where bed bug live (example on mattress, box spring, coil area below box spring, head board, bed frame, furniture's that includes chair, table, sofa, dresser etc.). You will see exact temperature on screen of the Gun. Once you get 122°F temperature on above said material (not in air) keep Elite 8 Bed bug Heat system for 10 - 12 hours. Generally speaking, treatments time vary based on the size of the room being treated.
Note: Depend upon availability of laser Gun model from our distributors, some time you will find different company, model and serial numbers of laser gun in your order.

Generally speaking, treatments time vary based on the size of the room being treated. Once the recommended temperature has been reached within the area being treated. Treated areas can be used after taking following precautions.
- Allow room to cool down for at least 1 – 2 hr's.
- Open door and window for ½ hr's so that room gets enough ventilation and cool down.
- You may notice dead bugs and dust that was blown around. Vacuum the area completely and thoroughly and dispose of the vacuum bag and contents. Area includes Mattress & Box spring especially fold & tuft area, frame behind head board, boundary of mattress & box spring, joint of furniture's, electric outlets, carpet, at the joint of baseboard & carpet, behind baseboards etc..
- After 10 days re-apply Temprid FX Insecticide in same room where you did heat treatment plus room surrounding (right, left, above three rooms and bottom three rooms) heated room.
