What is Esfenvalerate?

Esfenvalerate is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide which is used on a wide range of pests such as moths, flies, beetles, and other insects. It is used on vegetable crops, tree fruits, and nut crops. It may be mixed with a wide variety of other types of pesticides such as carbamate compounds or organophosphates.

How does Esfenvalerate work? (Mode of Action)

Esfenvalerate works against the insect/arthropod nervous system, resulting in repetitive firing of neurons. When the organism is exposed to esfenvalerate, it may exhibit symptoms of hyper excitation, tremors, convulsions, followed by lethargy, and paralysis. Following paralysis the insect/arthropod dies.

Keep out of reach of children.

Always check the label for warnings and instructions for use.
